A CLOUD IN A TINY BOX is the first interactive theater play for babies in Macedonia. It I purposed for toddlers around 12 months old, and their parents. Various visual surprises, collective games, cheerful music, mischievous words, unusual shapes and a pleasant atmosphere are intertwined in the performance

This particular piece, compared to performances targeting older children, young people and adults, is not based on narrative but on actions that arouse and provoke curiosity. The content is adapted to the age of the audience and is designed to stimulate the senses and stimulate the imagination.

The space where the actors welcome the babies and the parents is safe, comfortable, soft and gentle. In that space everyone can relax and enjoy. Acting is based on improvisation and interaction. There are no clear boundaries as to who is the performer and who is the spectator, so from time to time the actors will look at the babies and from time to time the babies will observe the actors. The scenography is designed to encourage the development of cognitive and motor skills, social skills as well as tactile sensations. Children can enjoy all the time, and can explore with a little help from the actors.

The idea is for the actors / performers to inspire the children to lead them into a maze of abstractions, gentle music, pleasant surprises, sensory sensations and a dreamy atmosphere.

A cloud in a tiny box offers babies and parents an experience that they can’t feel in a room full of toys, or in a park, a playroom, or in a kindergarten ... This kind of magic doesn’t occur anywhere except in the theater.
