Directed by: Natasha Poplavska
Author: Kiro Donev
This show was financed EU Info Centre- Skopje. Based on the brochures for raising environmental awareness amongst the youngest, published by the EU, a whole team of authors was invited to produce and eco-play for young children.
The directress Natasha Poplavska casted a team of actors both young and experienced, to tell the story of the little girl named Flora, that came from a tropical island where she was a princess. The princess Flora is appalled by the pollution in the dense populated areas of the planet. With the help of her new friends, Tom, Lila and Benny, she manages to prevent the deforestation, promotes riding bikes instead of using motor vehicles, and introduces recycling to her peers. As well as being educational, this show has a specific aesthetic, with colorful visuals, an original score, and superb actor’s performance.
The Flower Street” has become quite popular with the kindergartens and school in our town, because of its educational aspects, but is also a staple of our regular repertoire.
